Obituary For James "Jimbo" Beene

James Elery Beene was born on September 1, 1973 and went to join his savior and his family in Heaven on October 23, 2024. He had an identical twin brother who was stillborn, named David and James is being laid to rest right next to him. His mother was single when he was born, but married when he was about 3. That is when the only real father that he knew came into his life. He loved his “Daddy Wayne” and maintained a relationship with him and his family even after his parents divorced. He excelled in school and was on the History and Math Honor team in high school. He held a few jobs, one as a janitor in his church, before being disabled by seizures but he never lost his upbeat attitude. With him anything was possible and he would help anyone who needed help.

He is survived by the love of his life, Teri Richardson, her three daughters and their children. His mother, Janice Harris (and spouse) Dwayne Harris; his sister Darla Adcock (and spouse) Dub; his sister, Julie Fruen and brother Josh Harris. He had numerous half siblings through his biological father whom he never got to meet doesn’t know where they live with the exception of Stacey.

“Jimbo” as he was affectionately known had many nieces and nephews who loved spending time with him. He loved fishing, comics and cars.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation.
