James Lloyd McSpedden, 90, of Sherman, passed away on December 12, 2018 in Sherman, TX. Funeral services will be held Friday at Oak Hill Cemetery at Whitewright, Texas with Bro. Danny Wood of West Sherman Baptist Church in Sherman. Arrangements are being handled by Dannel Funeral Home. James was born in Whitewright, Texas to John L. and Lillian McSpedden on April 16, 1928. James graduated from high school at Whitewright, Texas. He owned a newspaper and bookstore in downtown Sherman for 30 years. James is preceded in death by his parents and a brother. The family of James wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Heart to Heart Hospice and The Homestead of Sherman for their care and love.
