Obituary For James Stanley

James Donald Stanley, 72, of Sherman, died unexpectedly on Sunday, June 28, 2015. Memorial services are scheduled for 4:00 p.m. Thursday, July 2nd, at Fusion Bible Church in Sherman. James was born January 15, 1943, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, to Hershel and Mary Janice Curtis Stanley. He spent much of his working career in the car sales/dealership business. Known for his stubbornness, James leaves quite a legacy and a host of family and friends who loved him dearly. Preceded in death by his parents, brothers Bennie and Mike Shellnut, and sisters, Mary Anna Stanley and Judy Stanley, he is survived by his children: John Tyler Stanley, James Donald Stanley II, and Tracie Stanley Noel; brothers: Bobby Stanley, Charles Stanley, and Kenneth Stanley; sisters, Linda Perry and Edna Menard; 3 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
