Jane Frances Lingo, 84, of Sherman, Texas, passed away on May 12, 2024, in Van Alstyne, TX.

A Rosary will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, 6:00 pm, at Dannel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm, Thursday, May 23, 2024, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Father Martin Castaneda of St. Anne’s Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Dannel Funeral Home.

Jane was born in Muskogee, OK, to Forrest and Sally Kloeckler on November 14, 1939. She went to school at Checotah High School. She graduated from Oklahoma State University. She worked as a High School Home Economics Teacher for Sapulpa High School until her retirement in 1993.

Jane is preceded in death by her Husband Richard of 58 years, Parents Forrest and Sally, Father in law Roy Lingo, Mother in law Elizabeth Lingo, Brother Edward, Brother in law John Rogers Lingo and Sister in law Vonda Absher.

Jane is survived by Son, Richard Brent Lingo, Daughter, Maria Keefover and Sarah Jones, Sisters, Adeline Adamek and Charlotte Pace. Brothers, Jim Kloeckler and Fred Kloeckler, Grandchildren, Corbin Lingo and Braxton Jones, along with many loving brother and sister in laws as well as nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to Hospice of Grayson County. The family of Jane wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Hospice of Grayson and everyone that prayed for our Family. Jane would also like to give a Special Thanks to Meadowbrook Care Facility, as well as her friends and quilting partners of St. Anne’s Catholic church.
