Obituary For Jason Clay Trevathan

Jason Clay Trevathan January 13, 1974 - January 15, 2021

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jason Trevathan on Friday, January 15, 2021.

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, January 29, 2021 at Dannel Funeral Home at 3:00PM. Horace Groff will officiate the memorial service. The family will greet friends after the service until 5:00 PM.

Jason enjoyed life to the fullest spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed fishing, camping, grilling out, riding motorcycles, dirt car racing, corn hole and watching his favorite football team "The Dallas Cowboys". Winning or losing he would be rooting for the Cowboys, Jason was definitely a die-hard Cowboys fan. You could also always count on Jason if you were constructing some sort of project, he was right there and pretty much would finish off what you started.

Jason was a hard worker and provided for his family. He also loved watching TV shows with his mom and family. Jason was also known as "PoPo" his grandchildren gave him that name and boy those grandchildren were the sunshine in his eyes and in the eyes of those grandchildren Popo was the best there was.

Jason had a special relationship with each of every one of his family and friends. It’s not really goodbye but I'll see you later. Each story and memories that each of us have are things that cannot be erased but truly cherished and smiled upon. While Jason had just celebrated his 47th birthday on January 13, 2021 he never stopped living life to its fullest.

Jason is preceded in death by his dad, Jerry Trevathan.

He is survived by his daughter Shea King, significant other Jacqueline Trevathan, step-children Taylor Lastor, Trevor Lastor, Trey Lastor. His grandchildren Ryder Mcmanaman, Mac Fallaw, Kayden Hobbs, Bella Lastor, Bryson Hobbs, Embree Lastor, Tripp Lastor, Kingston Lastor. His mom, Carolyn Trevathan, brothers Rusty Trevathan, wife Becky, Joey Trevathan, wife Alyson. Along with his aunts, uncle, many nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces. .
