Jeffrey Scott Greene, 44, of Denison, Texas passed away at his residence on Friday, November 4, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Greene was born in Sherman, Texas on November 11, 1971 the son of Brenda Smith and Doward Eugene Greene II. He attended Sherman Schools. He was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church of Denison, Texas. He enjoyed photography and restoring old antique cars. He worked as a Mechanic, Roofer and for a Moving Company. He was a man of many talents. He is survived by his mother and step-father Brenda & Paul Fox, Sr. of Denison, TX; step-brother Paul Fox, Jr. and wife Twila of Celeste, TX; Sister Michelle Moore and husband Mike of Sherman, TX; grandmother Kathlee Merrill of Sherman, TX; aunts Sandra Hunter and husband Jim , Debbie Carpenter and husband Cecil; nieces Cyndi, Madison, Kim; nephew Cody; and 3 cousins Kim, Jason and Jill. He was preceded in death by his father, Doward (Butch) Eugene Greene II, uncle Bud Smith, grandparents W. C. Smith, Polly and John Sparks; and step-grandfather Jim Merrill. A Celebration of his life will be held at 6:45 p.m., Monday, November 7, 2016 in Dannel Funeral Chapel, Sherman, Texas with Pastor Josh Jackson officiating. The family will receive friends before the service beginning at 6:00 p.m. until 6:45 p.m. The family would like to thank Dr. Linda Castillo and her staff for their support and tender loving care during Jeffrey's illness. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in his memory to Home Hospice of Grayson County, 505 West Center Street, Sherman, Texas.
