A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life for Jenifer Dion Comola, 39, will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, September 30th, 2017, at Calvary Hill Baptist Church, 3300 La Prada Drive, in Mesquite, Texas. Interment will be held on Monday, October 2nd at Dallas Ft. Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas at 10:30 am with immediate family. Jenifer went to be with her Creator and Savior on Sunday, September 24th, 2017 in Tom Bean, Texas. Jenifer was born in Dallas, Texas to Connie Magers and Mike Harrison on July 26, 1978. She graduated in 1996 from Naaman Forest High School in Garland, Texas and earned her Associates Degree from Richland College in Dallas, Texas. Jenifer married the love of her life Joshua Ronald Comola on March 13, 1997 in Whitewright, Texas at the home of her parents Connie and Rick Magers. Jenifer was the Operations Manager for Grayson Hills Winery, her family’s business, for approximately 5 years. Jenifer received numerous honors and awards during high school and college. She also attended Grayson County College for additional studies over the last 6 years. She was an amazing mother. Jenifer lived her life for her children! They were her everything. She loved spending time at their sports, church and school events or just “chillin” as she would say when having a quite day at home-just the four of them. She also enjoyed all of their friends. And there are many as we have found out this week. If you showed up at Jenifer’s home you would never know how many children would be there on a given weekend but she made sure they had a place to land for a good nights sleep. Every seat in her car was full when headed to birthday parties, church events, football practice/games, cheer practice or just a day of fishing at a friends pond. One of her most favorite hobbies was gardening. She loved working with plants and teaching her children how amazing it was to be able to take a seed and watch it grow into something that would become a beautiful flower. She used this example to share with them through many of their life experiences. It is an example that you will see in her children if you know them, or when you meet them. They themselves have and will continue to grow into beautiful flowers that she has created. She taught them about God. She took them to church, read the bible to and with them and shared her favorite Bible verses. She was transparent with them on how to cope with life and death when needed. She set an example for them and taught them to be dependable, ethical, honest and above all respectful individuals. She was humbled to have been loved by so many friends that always looked out for her and her children. Being a single mom is never easy. Jenifer is preceded in death by her husband, Joshua Ronald Comola; Fred Roundtree-grandfather; Billie Roundtree Bambico-grandmother; Leo Harrison-grandfather; and Joann Winegarden-grandmother. Those left to cherish her memories are her children, Jonisun Comola; Jace Comola; and Danika Wiggs (Whitewright, Texas); brother Travis Harrison and wife Camille’ (San Clemente, California) their children Dorian, Alexandra, Sydney, Titus and Charlie; brother James Rushing and wife Flo (Mesquite, Texas) and their children Jamie and Jennifer; brother Glenn Rushing (Mesquite, Texas); brother Drew Allan and wife Jennifer and children (Nashville, Tennessee); sister Melissa Wright and husband Tony (Springtown, Texas); mother Connie Magers and husband Rick (Whitewright, Texas); father Mike Harrison and wife Myrna Harrison (Garland, Texas); Inlaws Lisa Cummings and husband Roger (Crowley, Texas); brother in law Alex Martin (Arlington, Texas) and loving 96 year old grandmother Estelle Harrison (Mesquite, Texas) as well as many other family members.
