Obituary For Jeremy Paul Gilliam

Jeremy Paul Gilliam, 38, of Tom Bean, passed away unexpectedly Monday, September 25, 2023.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday morning in Sherman, Tx. Arrangements are by Dannel Funeral Home.

Jeremy was born in Kansas City, Kansas on May 4, 1985. His parents Samie and Retired Lieutenant Colonel Tommy Gilliam raised him all around the country as his father served in the military and the three of them came to reside in Tom Bean in 2001. Jeremy graduated from Tom Bean High in 2004. After high school he attended Grayson County College and was a skilled welder. He loved spending time working on the farm with his Dad. He was unique, funny, and the star of the show everywhere he went. A free spirit who made friends easily and lived life to the absolute fullest. He was an extraordinary father, a true friend, and a kind soul. He loved the Lord and spoke to him often. He loved his girls, the dogs, and a good time. Jeremy was loved by so many. He will be deeply missed.

Jeremy is preceded in death by his parents, Retired Lieutenant Colonel Tommy and Samie Gilliam; grandparents, Steve and Jerry Gilliam, and Clyde and Bonnie Kirkpatrick; aunt, Suzanne Clinton.

Jeremy is survived by his three daughters, Charlee Moncier, Ruthie Gilliam, and Samie Gilliam; son, Brayden Bomar; best friend, Cory Hodge and countless other friends; Uncle Jim Gilliam of Palestine, Texas, Aunt and Uncle Debbie and Dave Wesely of Omaha, Nebraska, Dianna and David Hardenburg of Pottsboro, Texas; cousins, Steve Gilliam of Austin, Texas, Kelly Clark of Natchitoches, Louisiana, Matthew Hardenburg of Pottsboro, Texas, Vanessa Tate of North Richland Hills, Texas, Valerie Griffin of Denison, Texas, Michelle Rollins of Pottsboro, Texas, Jason Wesely of Omaha, Nebraska, Blake Wesely of Omaha, Nebraska, and Kyla Lindstrom of Oakland, Nebraska.

    We loved Jeremy and enjoyed his many visits to our home to just check on us to see if we were ok or needed anything. Jeremy we miss you and see you again someday in Heaven. from Rickie and Susie Kilpatrick
