Jeri Sue (Howard) Porter, 58, passed away January 4, 2016, in Sherman, TX. No public services are scheduled at this time. Jeri was born in Abilene, TX, August 28, 1957. She was the third child, and first daughter, of Montez and Jean Howard. She graduated from Plainview High School, after which time she worked as a nurse's aide, artist/painter and a homemaker. Jeri is survived by three children: Paul (Denise) Casey, of Wichita Falls, TX, Scott (Jennifer) Casey, of Port Hueneme, CA, and Darla (Ron) Laubacher, of Misawa AFB, Japan; three grandchildren: Chauncey Casey, of Colorado Springs, CO, Jaidyn Spradling, of Wichita Falls, TX, and Heaven Casey, of Wichita Falls, TX; her mother, Montez Smith, of Richland Hills, TX; and her brother, Randal Howard, of Fort Worth, TX. Private services will be held at a later date.
