Obituaries

A graveside service for Jimmie Elaine Paveloff, 78, of Sherman, will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2022, at 10:00 AM at West Hill Cemetery in Sherman. Pastor Steve Rice of First Baptist Church in Sherman will officiate. The family will greet friends on Wednesday, August 24, from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at Dannel Funeral Home.

Jimmie passed from this life on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at Meadowbrook Care Center in Van Alstyne with her son John by her side. She was born April 26, 1944, in Dallas, Texas to James Eldon and Audrey Smith. The family lived in Grayson County, around Tom Bean, then moved to California for most of her life until her son brought her home to live in Sherman.

Jimmie was very easy to get along with. She always had a sweet smile and a kind word for everyone she met. She was a good person, and she will be missed.

Jimmie was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Barbara Smith and Frieda Langford, and her husband, John. She is survived by three sons: John Paveloff and wife Debbie of Denison, Mark Paveloff and wife Toni of Bells, Texas, and David Paveloff and fiancé Donna of Indio, California; Brother: Ken Langford, six grandchildren: Leah, Morgan, Derek, Parker, Jacob, and Olivia; one great grandchild, Stevie; many other relatives and friends.

There will be a family and friends reception at the home of John and Debbie Paveloff following the service on Thursday.
