Jo McClelland Denman, 61, of Canton, passed away on Wednesday August 23, 2017 in Canton, Texas. Visitation will be held on Tuesday August, 29, 2017 at Dannel Funeral Home from 6-8pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday August 30, 2017 at Dannel Funeral Home Chapel, 10am, with Rev. Leland Samuelson officiating. Burial will follow at Hagerman Cemetery in Pottsboro, Texas. Jo was born in Texas City, Texas to Ernest Edward McClelland and Georgia May Cade on May 22, 1956. She went to school in Austin, Texas. She married Bryan Denman on December 23, 1997 in San Antonia, Texas. Jo graduated from Trinity Valley Community College. Jo worked as a Registered Nurse for various companies and hospitals for 19 years. Jo is preceded in death by her father, mother, stepfather Richard Kraemer, her sister Linda Miller, and her brother Mark McClelland. Jo is survived by her husband, Bryan Denman, her children John Michael Kraemer and Kellie Jo Kraemer Paz, son-in-law Arthur Glen Paz, grandson James Edward Tristan Paz, aunt Glenda Cade, and nephew Charles Miller. Pallbears will be Tony Weber, Tom Clark, Dylan Sams, Myles Denman, Nick Denman, jr. and Paden Lewis. Arrangements are under the direction of Dannel Funeral Home.
