Obituary For Joe Schovanec

Joe Schovanec , 72, of Sherman, Texas, passed away March 7, 2021.

He was born in Sapulpa, Oklahoma on August 31, 1948. Joe graduated from Sapulpa High School.

He was married to Barbara Schovanec on July 16, 1971. Joe worked in the waste management industries at LMNT for 16 years. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW and the Elks. With a passion for playing guitars and singing, he also enjoyed sports.

Survivors include a son, Joseph Schovanec, and a daughter, Lisa DeFury; two grandchildren: Coy DeFury and Cam DeFury; and a sister: Paula Vawter.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 13, 2021, at Dannel Funeral Home.
