I have known John for at least 65 years dating back to First Christian Church. My wife, Gayle met John a few years ago and visited him regularly. John was a fine Christian man and was always smiling. We served together as deacons at First Christian Church for several years. He is now skating his way around heaven with his perfect body now. Rest in peace our friend.

I remember my cousin Johnny with great fondness. Even though I was the "kid cousin" he always had a kind gesture for me and I always got a smile from him. I hate that we lost touch but that seems to be the way of things today. I will always remember Aunt Dorothy and Marian and John with love. RIP

John was the sweetest and kindness person I knew. I have known him since in the mid 70s. We went to the same church in Sherman and then in Denison. It was the First Christian Church. He will be missed!! Loved him!!

John was a good and faithful servant at FCC, Denison. You could always count on him to turn on all the classroom lights and to pass out the attendance record books throughout the classrooms on Sunday morning. He was proud to later be named Honorary Sunday School Superintendent. As part of his deacon duties, he was willing and ready to welcome members and visitors at the front door and pass out the bulletins. We were thankful for John Chase. He had an infection chuckle and smile; and a story to tell. He will be missed.

John was like a wonderful brother to me. I will miss him dearly. I worked at The Renaissance for 30 years, retiring just about 3 years ago now. So I Knew his aunt, came to love him his mom, his sister Marion & Paul who visited as often as they could. I moved John & his Mom from one apartment to another. And John to his bachelor's pad! John & I teased each other constantly, I would rub the top of his head or kiss the very top. I always decorated his door for each holiday! Just really did what you would do for family. I surely will miss him as will so many. He truly had a lot of friends he always helped others! I will miss his smile, laugh & so much more. I was blessed to have had him & his famil in my life. Wonderful people!
