Obituary For Johnny Castillo

Johnny Castillo 63 of Sherman, Texas left this life peacefully to be with the Lord on September 20, 2024, while in the comfort of his home surrounded by his wife, children, grandchildren, siblings, and family.

Johnny was born on May 22, 1961 in Waco, Texas to Emilia Gonzalez and Callentano " Collie" Castillo.

Johnny was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He only had one child Leann and later married his wife, Michelle Anderson who had two children Ashlyn and Brayden that he raised as his own. Together they opened their hearts and doors to two foster children Andrew and Raven, during their marriage.

Johnny's heart was the size of Texas and was a guiding figure to many young people who affectionately referred to him as "Dad."

Johnny is preceded in death by his father "Collie" Castillo and his brother Frank Castillo.

Survived in the home was his wife Michelle Castillo. His children, Johnnie Leann Castillo, Ashlyn Anderson, Brayden Tanner, Andrew McBride and Raven Jones. He had 11 wonderful grandchildren, Langston, Addalyn, Carson, Lillian, John Ross, Evelyn, AJ, Wyatt, Ivy, Kameron and Kage.

He was also survived by his mother Emilia Gonzalez and three sisters, Belinda Duarte, Lupe Marquez and husband Jesse, Carolina Darden and one brother Ralph Castillo and wife Dolores all of Waco, Texas along with a host of many nieces, nephews, family and friends that he loved.

A Celebration of Johnny's life will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church in Sherman. Dr. Mike Lawson, Pastor Shanan Bailey and Pastor Andrew Castillo will officiate.
