Jonathan Cameron Farrer 25 formerly of Sherman passed away Sunday October 20 2013 in Lancaster TX from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. His family will receive friends at Dannel Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday October 24 2013. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday October 25 at Grayson Bible Baptist Church (4400 E. US Hwy 82) with Rev. Roy Webster officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarlawn Memorial Park immediately after the service. Mr. Farrer was born March 15 1988 in Lewsiville TX to Melissa Lory-Gaffney and Jared Brockington. Adopted as an infant by Don and Ruby Farrer he was raised in Grayson County. He attended schools in Sherman and Howe and graduated from S&S Consolidated High School in 2006. Jonathan had a special love for all things mechanical and could troubleshoot disassemble and repair nearly any motor or machine. It had been a life-long dream to learn to fly airplanes likely as much for the chance to work on a new type of mechanical marvel as to enjoy the skies. Left to celebrate JonathanÃ?¢ââ??‰â??¢s life in memories are: parents Don and Ruby Farrer, twin-brother Anthony Farrer of Florida, sister Alicia Farrer of Flagstaff AZ, two half-brothers: Tristan and Suttun Lory, birth mother Melissa Lory-Gaffney of The Colony TX, birth father Jared Brockington of Louisiana, maternal grandparents Ellen and Dick Cassidy of Addison TX, several aunts uncles cousins and a host of friends. The Farrer family wishes to express their tremendous gratitude to Rev. Danny Woods and the congregation of West Sherman Baptist Church for their prayers comfort and support during this unsettling time. Also a huge thank you to the Order of the Easter Star #182 of Sherman for their support. During this period prior to funeral services much of the family will be gathered at the home of Michael and Clarissa Doty at 182 Stark Lane in Howe TX.
