Obituary For Joseph Pendleton
A memorial service for Joseph E. Pendleton Jr. will be held on Saturday February 4 2012 at Dannel Funeral Home at 11:00 am. Deacon Albert Miller of St. Mary""s Catholic Church will preside over the service. Full military honors will be accorded during the service. Joseph was born on March 15 1937 in Hardinsburg Kentucky to Joseph E. Pendleton Sr. and Marcella Comley Pendleton. He was raised in Kentucky and attended Kentucky schools. When he was 18 Joseph enlisted in the United States Air Force and served all over the world including Vietnam. Upon his honorable discharge Mr. Pendleton moved to Texas and lived in several cities before settling in Sherman. Joseph loved being outdoors whenever possible especially to fish boat or even to mow the lawn. He was also a practical joker who loved to make people laugh. As long as everyone was having a good time Joseph was happy. What made him the happiest however was his family. He was a very proud father grandfather and great grandfather. His family and those who knew him will dearly miss him. His parents three siblings and a great grandchild Bradley Daley preceded Mr. Pendleton in death. He is survived four daughters, Karen Blass Sandra Harrison Chrystal Bee and Patricia Boswell, a son Eric Pendleton, ten grandchildren: Hanna Daley Josi Daley Amber Skelton Emily Skelton Jasmine Shaffer Samantha Shaffer Alexus Bee Zachary Bee Aspen Boswell and Athena Pendleton, six great grandchildren: Destiny Daley Angela Flatt Briana Daley Natalie Daley Phebee Hightower and Clayton Shaffer, two brothers: Robert Pendleton and Eddie Pendleton, several nieces and nephews.
