Obituary For Joseph Walbeck Barton

Joseph Walbeck Barton, 83, of Frisco, Texas, passed away on November 1, 2023 in Frisco.

Services will be held at 10:00 am with visitation starting at 9:00 am, Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 5095 Coit Rd in Frisco, Texas. Joe was born in Grangeville, Idaho, to Glenn and Nada Barton on October 9, 1940. Joe served in the US Navy before marrying Fran. The couple would have been married for 56 years this coming December. Joe loved his wife, his family, his country and the Texas Rangers.

Joe is preceded in death by his father, Glenn, his mother Nada, his brothers Scott, Bill and Ron, his sister Ranae and his daughter Teri.

Joe is survived by his wife Fran, children Liz, Joseph, Rob, Dan and Katie as well as sixteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Flowers can be sent to Dannel Funeral home at 302 S Walnut St in Sherman, Texas.
