Josephine Booher 82 of Sherman passed peacefully in her sleep Tuesday July 6 2011. Arrangements are under the direction of Dannel Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Thursday July 7 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Dannel Funeral Home 302 S. Walnut Sherman TX. A family memorial service will be held at Cedarlawn Chapel on the Hill Friday July 8 2011 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Leland Samuelson officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarlawn Cemetery. Josephine was born in Ambach Germany on June 2 1929. She met the most handsome man she had ever seen while he was stationed in Germany. She married "Billy" in Bristol Tennessee on March 5 1952. Their marriage of 59 years resulted in three loving daughters. She is survived by her husband Joseph H. Booher of the home, daughters Rhonda Jay of Sherman Cathy Booher (Bob) of Denison and Becky Ragland of Pottsboro, sister Wally Seiler of Germany, six grandchildren: Julie Sharp (Vince) Chris Jay (Tammy) Randy Jay (Megan) Lindsay Parks (Dave) Rachel Morales and Taylar Eubanks, five great-grandchildren: Morgan and Ella Sharp Aiden Jay Cara Booher-Morales and Lillie Parks, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law from Bristol TN, numerous nieces and nephews in Germany and Bristol TN. Mrs. Booher was preceded in death by her parents and a sister of Germany and grandson Alex Morales.
