Obituary For Joyce Merleen Reynolds

Joyce Merleen Reynolds, 82, of Sherman, Texas, passed away on February 18, 2025 in Sherman, Texas peacefully surrounded by her family.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 24, 2025 at Cedar Cemetery with Pastor Danny Wood of West Sherman Baptist Chruch,
officiating. Arrangements are by Dannel Funeral Home.

Joyce was born in Moore, Oklahoma to Robert and Ruby Hart on August 11, 1942. She graduated from Sherman High School in 1960. She married
Richard Reynolds Sr. in 1960. She worked as a Secretary for TI/Raytheon for 23 years. She was involved in her church at West Sherman Baptist. She
taught Sunday School and VBS. Joyce enjoyed needlepoint embroidery and cross stitch. Her favorite song was “The Old Rugged Cross.”

Joyce is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Ruby; her sisters Wilma Erdman, Ethel Miller and Edna Young; and daughter Shelley Copeland.

Joyce is survived by her husband of 64 years Richard Reynolds; son Rich Reynolds and wife Pam. Grandchildren; Josh Copeland and wife Carisa,
Matthew Reynolds and wife Jessica, Kristen Bollier and husband Michael, Rebecca McMinn and husband Jacob. Great-Grandchildren; Chloe Bollier, Carter Copeland, Reily Reynolds, Norah Reynolds, and Grant McMinn.

    I worked with Joyce for Many years @ Ti/Raytheon and she was one of the sweetest ladies I ever had the pleasure to know. She Always had a Smile and Kind word for everyone. My prayers are with the Family.
