Obituary For K Russell Braswell

K. Russell Braswell, 73, of Tom Bean, Texas passed away on Tuesday October 16, 2018 in Plano, Texas.

Russell was born in Sherman, Texas on July 27, 1945 to parents Clarence and Mildred Braswell. Russell graduated from Rockwall High School and after graduation he attended North Texas State University where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. Russell married the love of his life Patty on January 28, 1967.Russell went on to work for State Farm Insurance Company as an insurance adjuster.

Russell was a member of Victory Life Church in Sherman, Texas, were he had a passion for serving the Lord in many ways. He will be greatly missed by his family and everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Patty Braswell; 2 sons: Lance Braswell of Spring, Texas and Trevor Braswell and wife Heather of Conroe, Texas; daughter: Leann Johnson and husband Jason of Moore, Oklahoma; sister, Stephana Mayo and husband James of Howe, Texas; 5 grandsons: Cody, Trevan, and Grant Braswell, Brayden Cunningham, and Seth Johnson; 4 granddaughters: Michelle Johnson, Bella Parks, Skyler and Bree Braswell.

Russell was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Mildred, as well as his brothers, Dwight and Rodney Braswell.

A Celebration of Russell’s Life will be held on Saturday November 24, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Victory Life Church in Sherman, Texas with Pastor Terry Brown officiating.

The Family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be given to the Russell Braswell Memorial Scholarship, at Charis Bible College Sherman, 4100 N. Travis St., Sherman, TX, 75092.
