Mrs. Katherine Louis Gray Patterson 85 formerly of Sherman passed away Tuesday October 22nd at her home in Dallas TX. Her family will receive friends at Dannel Funeral Home in Sherman on Thursday evening October 24th from 7:00 ââ?¬" 9:00 p.m. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday October 25th in Dannel Funeral Chapel (302 S. Walnut St.). Rev. Don Ricks of Venus TX will officiate. Interment will follow in Macomb Cemetery in Whitesboro TX. Mrs. Patterson was born March 9 1928 in Paris TX to Edward Ross Gray and Ella Arron Gray. She married Floyd Dillard Patterson on October 29 1958 in Gainesville TX. She retired from Rockwell Collins after 23 years of service. She was also an instrumental part of the building and organization of Woodlawn Baptist Church in Denison TX. In later years Katherine was quite content to sit and watch old westerns on TV especially if she had a crochet project in her lap. Left to celebrate Katherine"¢s life are one son Floyd Patterson Jr, daughters: Donna Patterson Parks Deborah Patterson and Betty Patterson Horne, grandchildren: Ashley Percy Richard Parks Tori Sheets Wesley Shutt Vincent Shutt Joshua Parks Patrick Patterson Emily Shutt Khyra Parks Khyle Parks and Chelsae Patterson, great grandchildren: Richie Parks DeMariae Parks Logan Percy DJ Parks Lane Sheets Morgan Percy Khylie Sheets and Lincoln Shutt. Mrs. Patterson was predeceased by her parents her husband and six siblings: Zubie Gray Auterburn Fannie Gray Thompson Ruth Gray Farr Freeman Gray Leroy Gray and Bill Gray.
