Obituary For Kaylen McBroom

A graveside service for Kaylen Ayden-Louise McBroom will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the McBroom Family Cemetery in Blossom, Texas. The family will greet friends on Friday, November 10, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm in the Dannel Funeral Home Chapel. Diagnosed with cancer in December 2016, Kaylen proved to be a very strong warrior throughout her battle. With her family by her side, Kaylen went on to see Jesus on Tuesday, November 7, 2017. Kaylen Ayden-Louise McBroom was born in Sherman, Texas on August 29, 2007 to James Allen McBroom and Chelsea Lyn Simmons. Kaylen lived in Pottsboro, Texas with her Daddy, step-mom, Jennifer McBroom and her younger brother, little James. Kaylen enjoyed playing with her brother and their two furry friends, Rebel and Biscuit. She especially enjoyed her family's camping trips to Lake Texoma and Paris. Kaylen played softball and like cheering for her Dad at his softball games. Kaylen is survived by her Daddy, Momma Jen and brother, little James of Pottsboro, Texas; her Mother, Chelsea Simmons, step-father, Steven Schwering and sister Maddie of Minnesota; and her brother, Ziek McBroom of Dallas, Texas. She is also survived by Grandparents, Great-Grandparents and many, many Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and close family friends - all of whom loved Kaylen very much. Kaylen's smile has changed all of us and she will live forever in our hearts.

She was one of my 3 K girls. I always called her Kayla and Kiley the three musketeers. When one was over they all were together. Her smile was infectious. Her and Kayla always found ways to stay occupied they even made a slip and slide in Kayla's room several times. ~ Tina Singleton, Dennison, Texas
