Kristi was born to Jerome Ralph Rolbiecki and Marcia Kathryn Rolbiecki, at U.S. Air Force Base Sioux City, Iowa on June 15, 1956. She went with her family wherever the Air Force told her dad to go, taking her to Ernest Harmon Air Force Base, Newfoundland and Truax Air Force Base, Madison, Wisconsin. Kristi suffered a massive brain tumor when she was seven years old and was operated on at the Great Lakes Naval Hospital, Illinois, leaving her blind. Kristi learned the Dutch language fluently when her family was stationed at Soesterberg Air Force Base, Holland. Kristi returned to the United States in 1968 when her dad was stationed at Perrin Air Force Base, Sherman, Texas. She was an avid reader of books in braille, having graduated with a high school diploma from the Texas School for the Blind in Austin, Texas. She did a wonderful job of living her life her way. In 1982, Kristi married Paul D ‘Anna whom she adored, and they lived their lives independently in Rochester, New York for the period of time God allowed. After the passing of her beloved ‘Pauli”, Kristi lived with her mother and loved the dinner parties prepared by the best cook in Sherman, Texas, Marcia Rolbiecki. Heaven is in for a good party. The Good Wine Will Be Served!

Kristi was a member of Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in Sherman, Texas. She is survived by her “Baby Brother” David Alan Rolbiecki of Georgetown, Texas, her nephew Travis Benjamin Rolbiecki of Seattle, Washington, and her niece Dr. Abigail Jordan Rolbiecki-Adams of Columbus, Missouri. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in Sherman at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 23, 2021. Father Merlito Abiog will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
