Obituary For Larry Stegman

Larry John Stegman, 71, of Sherman, passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2021, in Sherman. Larry was cremated according to his wishes and there will be a visitation at Dannel Funeral Home Friday, March 19, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM.

Larry was born in Newark, New Jersey on December 10, 1949 to Barney and Frances Stegman. He was raised in Michigan and later graduated from South Eastern Oklahoma State University after relocating to Sherman. Larry married the love of his life, JoAnn Riddels Stegman on October 18, 1975. Larry was a proud veteran of the United States Navy who served on an aircraft carrier during the Vietnam War. He had a successful career in the construction business for over 40 years.

Larry is preceded in death by his father Barney, and father in law, Dr. Roy Riddels. Larry is survived by his wife, JoAnn; son, Byron Stegman and wife Katie of Denison; mother, Frances Wilson; 3 brothers: Neil Stegman and wife Diane, Don Stegman and wife Becky, and Paul Stegman; sister, Lynn Stegman; mother in law, Elizabeth Riddels, numerous nieces and nephews, and grandchild, Kennedy Ann Stegman.
