On October 11, 1973, she married Walter Loder in Keyport, NJ. She had attended St. Mary's Catholic Church for many years. Laureen demonstrated the absolute heart of a servant, often taking care of others in times of need. One effort that was most dear to her heart was providing hand-made rosaries as gifts. She had even been privileged to make and send a rosary to President George W. Bush during his tenure in the White House, later receiving a Presidential Seal in appreciation for her gift. As well as serving the needs of people in need, Laureen was also an avid animal lover. Preceded in death by her mother, Mrs. Loder is survived by her husband of 42 years, Walter Loder; daughter Evette Warner and husband, Rick, of Bonham, TX; brothers: Johnny, Billy, and Wayne Ashby, of New Jersey, and Harry Ashby, of Florida; sister, Ruthie Ashby, of New Jersey; grandsons, Domnick and Anthony May, of Bonham; great-grandchildren: Emma, Pressley, Drake, Kash, and Little Anthony. Serving as pallbearers are: Johnny Ashby, Billy Ashby, Domnick May, Anthony May, Gerry Brundage,Phillip Melton and Richard Austin. Honorary bearer is Bill Gray. Arrangements are under the direction of Dannel Funeral Home in Sherman. Online condolences may be registered at www.dannelfuneralhome.com 'When tomorrow starts without me, And I'm not there to see, If the sun should rise and find your eyes, All filled with tears for me, I wish so much you wouldn't cry, The way you did today, While thinking of the many things, We didn't get to say. I know how much you love me, As much as I love you, And each time that you think of me, I know you'll miss me too. But when tomorrow starts without me, Please try to understand, That an angel came and called my name, And took me by the hand, And said my place was ready, In heaven far above, And that I'd have to leave behind, All those I dearly love. But when I walked through Heaven's gates, I felt so much at home, When God looked down and smiled at me, From His great golden throne. He said, "This is eternity, And all I've promised you, Today your life on earth has passed, But it starts here anew. I promise no tomorrow, for today will always last, And since each day's the same, There's no longing for the past." So when tomorrow starts without me, Don't think we're far apart, For every time you think of me, I'm right here in your heart.'
