Obituaries

Lawana Jean Fields passed away at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital-WNJ on May 9 2013. Lawana was born on June 11 1943 in Montrose CO to Stanley Roy Morgan and Rebecca Walker Morgan. She was in Management at Wal-Mart for 28 years part of time being spent working at Wal-Mart in Sherman and New Mexico. She was a hard worker and expected that of others. Lawana enjoyed country living gardening canning and making her own salsa which she loved to share with others. She was such a caring person that one particular year at Christmas time she made several of her friends a quilt each one in a different color she said to match their personalities. She was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are her three sons David Harwell Joe Harwell and Robert Watson and special friend Sheryl Key. Lawana will be missed but never forgotten. "In the morning while still dark out she is the brightest star in the sky. Heaven now has a new angel and she will be watching over us." A memorial service for Lawana will be held on Friday May 17 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Parkview Church of Christ in Sherman TX with Weldon Stoker officiating.
