Obituary For Lillian Russell

Mrs. Lillian May Russell, daughter of the late Myron and Candaladia “Candy” Blanchard, was born on February 26, 1928 in Marfa, Texas. She attended the schools of Marfa, Texas. She was united in holy matrimony to Clovis Russell in September of 1968 and they spent 48 glorious years together. Lillian quietly departed this life on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas Cherishing her memories are her husband Clovis Russell, daughter Caroline Rangel, son Domenic Taraborelli Jr., grandchildren Joey Rangel, Donny Rangel, Johnny Rangel, Diana Rangel and Frank Bright along with several nieces and nephews, 15 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters and 3 brothers. Please join us this Sunday and Monday as we celebrate the life of our beloved Lillian. Family night will be held at Dannel Funeral Home from 6pm to 8pm on Sunday, August 7, 2016. Funeral services will be held at Dannel Funeral Home at 10am on Monday, August 8, 2016 followed by graveside services at West Hill Cemetery\ on Lamar Street in Sherman, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Dannel Funeral Home.

    Caroline and Dominic....I am sure you won't remember me, but I was reading some old newspapers from a cousins house when I spotted your Mother's obituary...and knew I had known that beautiful face from somewhere...I spent many happy hours at your house way back in the day, (usually coming home with you from the skating rink) and Lillian was always so kind and gracious to me....I loved her and was saddened to read of her passing....Please know that I mourn with you....An old friend, Cindy
