Obituary For Linda Gail Partridge

Linda Gail Fielder Partridge, 76, of Sherman, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021 in Sherman. A visitation will be held on Friday, January 15, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Dannel Funeral Home. She will lie in state at the funeral home from 12:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Friday if you would like to pay your respects before visitation. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 16, at Oak Wood Cemetery in Whitesboro at 1:00 PM. Rev. Frank Drenner of Grace United Methodist Church in Sherman will officiate. Pallbearers for Mrs. Partridge will be Ronnie Fielder, Rickie Fielder, Joseph Fielder, Mark Nagel, Donny Barks, and Dustin Hensley.

Linda was born in San Diego, California to Lewis and Audrey Fielder on November 23, 1944. She was the oldest of three children and was raised in Whitesboro, Texas. She graduated from high school in Gainesville and then immediately began working at Johnson and Johnson in Sherman. She was a machine operator for over 30 years and was a loyal employee. She was in the first responders unit at J&J and participated in many corporate events throughout the years. She was well liked and respected at J&J.

She had two daughters from a previous marriage, Sandra and Bridgette, before she met James “Peewee” Partridge and they married in 1968. They became a very loving, happy family and lived in Sherman. She and her family enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing for trout, and boating. She loved to travel and garden. She loved her family and always took good care of them. She will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents. Linda is survived by her daughters; Sandra Barks and husband Donny of Sherman, and Bridgette Irene Nagel and husband Mark of Sherman; 2 brothers: Ronnie Fielder of Whitesboro, and Rickie Fielder of Northfork, Arkansas; grandson, Dustin Hensley and wife Krystal and 2 great grandsons, Aiden and Jack; and her beloved cat, Pumpkin.
