Obituary For Linda Sue Arterburn

Linda Sue Adams Arterburn, 75, of Bonham, Texas, formally of Denison, passed away On October 31, 2018, at Clyde Cosper Veterans’ Home. She was born in Whitesboro, Texas on June 2, 1943. .

She was married to Adrian Wyatt Arterburn on October 13, 1962 in Durant, Oklahoma.

She had numerous jobs, including waitressing, Levi’s Corporation, Nabisco Company; and before retiring, she was a rural mail carrier with the Pottsboro Post Office.

She had a passion for care giving, baking, and teaching cake decorating at JC Penny’s, and most importantly her family. She was very active in her children’s lives and enjoyed her grandchildren immensely.

She is survived by daughter Sharon Kay Achimon (of Tom Bean), husband Donnie and children: Kelsi Myers (husband Johnathan) and Sydney; son, Adrian Todd Arterburn (of Houston) and children: Ryan, Alexis, Gabriel, Adrian, and Soraya; son, David Brett Arterburn (of Pottsboro) and children: Austin, Avery, Kaden, and Kameron; Sister-in-law Christine McHam and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Leo and Jessie Mae Adams and her two sisters Brenda Rogers and Joy Aldridge.

Visitation will be on Sunday, November 4, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at Dannel Funeral Home, Sherman, Texas.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, November 5, at Dannel Funeral Home with Rev. Todd Peavy of Victory Church in Scurry, Texas, officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Whitesboro, Texas. Donations may be made to Hospice Plus in Sherman or the Alzheimer’s Association.
