"Miss Pace" was my art teacher when I was a 7th grader in 1956 in Sherman! She was a strong and able teacher who instilled in me a lasting love of art. In fact, I have just completed 40 years of teaching art to young boys at St. Mark's School of Texas. "Miss Pace" had such a commanding presence. During an assembly with the entire student body, she took the stage and with one or two words was able to silence the entire group in an instant. The students adored her and respected her. She definitely made a wonderful contribution during her many years of teaching. I appreciate having been one of her students so long ago. I sent my deepest sympathy to her family.
