The Tappa family played an important part of my childhood growing up in First Presbyterian Church of Sherman. Mrs. Tappa was always had a smile and a kind word when I visited Sherman as an adult after moving to Dallas. Both Dr. and Mrs. Tappa will be missed by many friends. Susan Stephens, Dallas TX

I had the great good fortune of sitting behind Lois in the cello section of the Sherman Symphony. Her love of music was contagious. David Stout

Great piano teacher! She was more patient than she should have been. I play piano weekly for my church. Credit to Lois Tappa.
