Obituary For Manuel Morales

Manuel was born in Sherman, Texas, on March 9, 1935, the child of Cecil O Morales and Francis Alvarado.

He worked for the City of Sherman in the sanitation department for over twenty years. Manuel was a member of El Divino Salvador in Sherman, TX, the church founded by his father. Manuel had a passion for Karaoke, Elvis Presley, old Westerns, and his reputation as a “Ladies Man”.

Manuel was preceded in death by his father, Cecil O Morales, his mother, Francis Alvarado, his brothers, Daniel Morales, Sam Morales, and Cecil Morales Jr., his sisters, Rachel Aguilar, Phebe Quick, Esther Cervantes, and Helen Slaughter.

He is survived by his daughter, Debbie Ryder and husband, Tracy Ryder; his son, James Morales and wife, Tara Morales; his daughter, Nita Acosta; and his daughter, Angela Romero and husband, Darwin Romero, his sisters, Francis Carolan of Tulsa, OK, Genoveva Cunningham and husband, Tom Cunningham of Anna, TX and Juanita Carr of Sherman TX as well many nieces, nephews, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends.

Pallbearers will be Hunter Roberts, Presley Roberts, Christian Romero, Rami Acosta, Brandon Plumlee, and Darwin Romero.

There will be a Visitation on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, 2:00 pm followed at 2:30 pm by a Funeral Service at Dannel Funeral Home in Sherman, TX.

Manual was loved while he was here with us and will be loved for all time and eternity.
