Marilyn Kaye Wood, 69, of Sherman, peacefully
passed away on October 23, 2024 surrounded by loved ones.

Marilyn (Kaye) Wood was born on September 20, 1955 to Cliffie Lee Curtis and Calvin Curtis in Springdale, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her Brother David Lee Curtis, Brother Michael Dean Curtis Sr., Father Calvin Curtis, Brother Reginald Curtis, Mother Cliffie Curtis.

Marilyn (Kaye) Wood Is survived by Son Stephen Ray Stewart and Wife Beverly, Son John Lynn Stewart and Wife Amanda, Dennis Joe Wood, Grand children Elizabeth and Shelby, Brother Michael Dean Curtis Jr. and Wife Judy.

Marilyn worked for Denison Walmart as a Sales Associate for about 15 years before she retired. Marilyn loved spending time at Choctaw casino when she was able, she also had many crafts she enjoyed doing. Mom would have not wanted any of us to shed a tear, but instead to share laughter and good memories of her time on earth.

Celebration of Life will be held at Denison Church of the Nazarene on November 9, 2024 from 3:00pm-6:00pm. Please feel free to come and share any good memories of Marilyn at this time. It will be a come and go as you please event. The family looks forward to all the memories and stories to be shared. At a later date to be determined we will be taking her remains to Arkansas to rest with her Siblings and Parents.
