I have dreaded this day for the last few years (honestly my whole life) but I am also at peace that she is no longer in pain. I am gonna miss getting my Good Morning my Sunshine Lady and my goodnight sweet grand daughter text messages. I am gonna miss just showing up at her door and texting her that there is a special delivery waiting for her and it be me and seeing that great big smile on her face and the never ending hug. All the special trips to Denny's for coffee when I was much younger. I'm just gonna miss my NANA. Texas really won't be Texas with her not here but its also holds so many memories because of this amazing special woman that I was HONORED to have as my grandmother R.I.P Nana I love you more than you know but you already know that.

Marshia craved to walk and know Christ and because of her hunger many lives were touched and their desire to know Him also grew. She was like all of us walking in this life, but God never walked away from her, and lives continued to be changed. Now she knows and all the questions she had were answered! I was blessed to have such a mother who loved God and would stop everything to talk about Him. I was blessed at the moment of her crossing over to see His touch upon her face as it glowed and her last breath. If you do believe I hope your loved ones see what I saw. If you don't believe I hope you find Christ before your last breath.

Nana taught me how important it was to be an independent woman by the age of 6 haha. She also made sure Brittany and I learned how to cook young too. I still use her white gravy recipe to this day! I will miss her early morning texts with my weather update and the constant love she sent me! Love you Nana!!
