Mary was a beautiful seamstress. She made clothes for family and friends including wedding and bridesmaid dresses. She kept her family in lovely clothes for all seasons and special events While she couldn’t always afford to buy clothes for her girls, the clothing she made for them far exceeded any store-bought garment.

Mary Elizabeth was a dear, lifelong friend to the Hestand family. There are so many memories of time spent with the Armstrongs, especially the weekends when Glenn and Dad went fishing and Mom and I would stay with Mary and Jan. May the Lord bless you all at this time of sadness!
