Obituaries

Mary Burns, 84, of Sherman, Texas passed away on January 1, 2021 in Denison, Texas. A Vigil service will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 14, 2021 from 6:20 PM TO 8:00 PM at Dannel Funeral Home.

Mary was born September 26, 1936 to Brigida and Juan Rodriguez. She worked early at May Pharmacy in sales. Later she went to Sherman Office Supply and after they closed, she transferred to Buffalo Business Products in Gainesville, Texas where she retired.

Mary loved her family and enjoyed cooking and spending time with them. She will be missed greatly. She loved her 2 cats, Salem and Luna; the boys and they will miss her too.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Brigida Rodriguez, two sisters, Elaine Rodriguez and Juanita Mexia; brothers Johnny Rodriguez and sister-in-law Irene Rodriguez. She is survived by sisters: Rose Bearden, Ester Farley and Ramona Rodriguez. Brothers: Jesse Rodriguez, Jose Rodriguez and many nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the ICU nurses at Texoma Medical Center who gave our sister such good care.
