Mary Catherine Martin went to be with her Lord on April 7 2012 in Friendswood Texas. She was born in Demopolis Alabama on October 8 1919 to John Brown and Carrie Reid Brown. Catherine was a lifetime worker in the textile industry in several states and in Sherman. She was a weaver for Burlington Industry until their closure. She is survived by two sons Kenneth Paul Raley and wife Shirley and Jesse Joel Raley and wife Margie and daughter-in-law Martha Raley. Also to sisters, Jonnie Mae Thompson and Lela Myrtis Sutherland. Six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents a son Raymond Eugene Raley brother Albert Purcell Brown. Services for Mrs. Martin will be held at 10:00 a.m. on April 10 2012 at The River Of Life Church 201 Lum Lane in Denison Texas with Pastor Carol Manery presiding. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery Denison Texas. Pallbearers will be timothy Alan Champe Jeffrey Raley Joseph Raley Jacob Ray Purdom Kenneth Mitchell Jr. and Roy Dean Jackson.
