Melinda Austin, 47, of Sherman, passed away on July 26,2021, in Frisco, TX.

Memorial and Celebration of life will be at 6 pm, Saturday, August 14, 2021, at Trinity Baptist Church with Jason Anderson officiating. Burial will happen at a later date with family. Arrangements are by Dannel Funeral Home.

Melinda was born in Sherman, TX, to Chuck Austin and Brenda Anderson on July 31, 1973. She was the youngest of four but the identical twin to Melissa Austin. Melinda graduated from Sherman High School in 1993. She worked at Albertsons, Luby’s and Catfish King. Melinda loved crafting, crocheting, coloring and a multitude of other things.

Melinda is preceded in death by her grandson, Asher Rayne Austin, her father, Chuck Austin and her grandparents, Kenneth and Catherine Austin and Red and Louise Benedict.

Melinda is survived by her daughter Caty Austin Lawrence and her granddaughter and pride and joy, Cerinity Austin, her brother Chris Austin (Angela), her twin sister Melissa Austin, her sister Angie Clinton (Gary), her stepbrothers, Andy and Scott Glazner, her mother, Brenda Anderson and step mother, Kathy Austin. Her nephews: Jay Atkins, Tyler Clinton, Jacob Austin, Trevor Clinton and Corbin Austin. Her nieces: Kayla Tonelli, Katelyn Solis, Mallory Ollier and Audrey Ullom.
