Obituaries

Mike passed away Easter Sunday April 12, 2020 at One Medical in Plano. After a long battle with diabetes and heart failure. Mike was 61 years old.

Preceding him in death are his parents C.C. and Faye Boatright, son SRG. Michael Luke Boatright, daughter Candy Deanne Boatright, nephew Rex Boatright.

Mike is survived in death by son Andrew Boatright and Sondra Boatright of Howe, sister Rita Thomas of Oak Point, Brothers Eddie and wife Judy of Mckinney, Charles and wife Marsha of Little Elm. Curtis and wife Laura of Frisco.

Nephews: Matt Thomas and Mark Boatright. Nieces: Meredith, Stefani, Christi, Charla and Amy Grandchildren: Colton, Tanna, and Zoie.

Also surviving Mike are his close friends Jeff and Connie Unclebach of Sherman.

Mike was the youngest of five children. He grew up in Little Elm. He owned a construction business “Mikes Construction” and sold when he moved to Denison. Here he had “Mikes Striper Guide Service” On Lake Texoma.

Mike loved riding his Harley Davidson and winning at the casino.

A small graveside memorial was held Sunday May 10, 2020 at Little Elm Cemetery. Rev. Curtis Boatright officiated. He and Andrew read “The Lords Pray”, Mikes favorite Bible verse, those who loved Mike will miss him dearly.
