Michael J. Walter, 77 of Pottsboro, TX, passed away on November 29, 2024 in Pottsboro, TX.

Celebration of life will be held 2:00, Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Dannel Funeral Home,
302 South Walnut, Sherman, TX 75090.

Michael was born in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on June 25, 1947. He was raised by his loving parents Frank and Juanita Walter. He went to school in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He Married Theresa Eagle on January 21, 1983. He worked as a Mainframe Manager for Electronic Data Systems/ Hewlett-Packard for 37 years. Michael is preceded in death by his daughter Nicole Walter.

Michael is survived by his wife Theresa, daughter Melissa Walter (Angela), son Eric Walter (Katie), sister Melody Hagan (Mike), grandsons Reid and Elliott Walter, sister in law Debbie Hughes (John), brother in law Larry Eagle (Karen), sister in law Brenda Bejar and numerous nieces and nephews.

Michael enjoyed camping, fishing, boating, car races, the beach, travel, his Miami Dolphins and Hawaiian shirts, Most of all Mike loved being around his family and friends.

Memorials may be given to Alzheimer’s Association. The family would like to thank Angel Hands Hospice, his nurse Megan and his aide Tiffany.
