Michael Kent "Slim" Wolgamott Jr.

Michael Kent "Slim" Wolgamott Jr., 65, of Gordonville, Texas, passed away on July 3, 2026. He was born on April 5, 1961, in Hardtner, Kansas.

Known to family and friends simply as "Slim," Michael was loved for his warm heart, sense of humor, and the lasting friendships he built throughout his life. He touched the lives of many and will be remembered with love and gratitude by all who knew him.

Michael is survived by his devoted wife, Lisa Wolgamott; his three sons, Corporal Michael Wolgamott, USMC, and his wife, Sydney; Tyler Wolgamott; and Jason Woodle and his wife, Dolly. He is also survived by his parents, Mike and Rita Wolgamott; his brother, Willis Wolgamott, and his wife, Marti; along with many extended family members, dear friends, and all whose lives were enriched by knowing him.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at Hardtner Cemetery in Hardtner, Kansas. A reception will follow at Hardtner Methodist Church, where family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and celebrate Michael's life.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial donations be made to the Hardtner Senior Community Center.

Though his passing leaves a profound void, the memories he created and the love he shared will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
