Michael M. Lashley 60 of Denison passed away on April 27 2011 at Red River Regional Hospital in Bonham TX. Dannel Funeral Home is in charge of services. A memorial will take place on Sunday May 1 2011 from 4:00 â�"" 6:00 p.m. at Dannel Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Jody Shires of Sunnyside Baptist Church in Denison will preside. The Patriot Guard Riders of Grayson County will accord military honors. Mike was the fourth child of Vernon and Helen (Frizzell) Lashley, and was born February 19 1951. He was born at Perrin Air Force Base in Denison and attended public schools there. He served our country in the US Army for two tours in Vietnam, and was stationed in Schwabach Germany and Fort Sill Oklahoma. He achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant. After his military career he came home and had a career as an electrician. He is survived by his wife Ann Lashley, two sons: Chase Lashley of Sherman and Scott Holley of Mesquite, four daughters: Kayren Banks of Ft. Worth Amy Roberts of Sherman Michele Moore of Denison Andrea Roberts of Denison, three brothers: Rick Lashley of Tom Bean Glen Lashley of Denison and Donald Lashley of Pilot Point, three sisters: Janelle Dennis Pam Colvin and Donna Godbey all of Sherman, and three grandchildren: Rider Michael and Noah. He is preceded in death by his father Vernon and two brothers Ronald Lashley and Jerry Lashley.
