Miklos Nemeth, 89, of Sherman passed away on April 10, 2026.

Miklos was born in Kiliman, Hungary in 1937 to Joseph and Maria Nemeth. He proudly worked for Lund Construction of California during his working years. He was a Christian and Veteran, having served in the United States Air Force upon arriving to America. He lived joyfully while pursuing his favorite hobbies: rock hunting, rock shows, making jewelry, growing orchids, cooking for friends and family, and volunteering for the El Dorado County Sheriff’s department.

Miklos is survived by his daughters Lauren Gonzalez, Lisa Reilly, Nola Nemeth-Odens, Erica Nemeth, Karen Annand, Sheila Latapie, Kelly Green Nemeth, Carla King; 15 Grandchildren; and 14 great-Grandchildren.

A passionate patriot, Miklos can be honored by giving any memorials to Warrior Foundation Freedom Station on his behalf. The family of Miklos also wishes to extend our sincerest thanks to the kind and supportive in- home hospice care givers: Juan Garcia, Kelly Hoffman, and Lori B. of Elara Caring.
