Obituary For Nancy Jeanne Stroud

Graveside services for Nancy J. Stroud, 64, of Sherman who passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021, will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at West Hill Cemetery at 10:00 AM. Rev. Steve Rice of First Baptist Church in Sherman will officiate. She was cremated according to her wishes.

Nancy was born on June 24, 1956 in Sherman to Hulan and Nora Mae Stroud. She was raised and attended Sherman schools graduating from Sherman High School in 1974. She began working for Wilson N. Jones Hospital in 1978 where she was still employed as a telemetry tech/unit clerk and loved by all who she worked with. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Sherman her entire life.

She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by Uncle Bill Stroud and wife Pat of Southmayd, numerous cousins and her beloved cat “Smoky”. She will be missed.
