Obituary For Naomi Ruth Trusty

Naomi Ruth Trusty born October 1, 1927 in Loco, Oklahoma, went to be with the Lord on March 17, 2020. She was a homemaker and mother to 3 children: Alvin, Donna, and Deborah Trusty. She owned and operated an antique business “Trusty Collectibles” in Hobbs, New Mexico for 30 plus years. Naomi married the love of her life, Donald Lewis Trusty on September 28, 1946 in Bakersfield, CA. They were married for 67 years when he passed away in 2014 in Hobbs, NM.

Naomi was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lewis Trusty, their son Alvin Lewis Trusty, sister Loraine Griner, brother Howard Junior Adams, brother Melvin Adams, father Howard Gipson Adams and mother Pallie Elizabeth McMasters Adams Gage. Naomi is survived by sister Wanda Bush, daughter, Donna and husband Bill Sheehy, daughter Deborah Trusty, daughter-in-law Brenda Trusty, granddaughter Kristy Ariaz and husband Paul, granddaughter Aimee Trusty, grandson Marcus Trusty, grandson Alan Sheehy and wife Amanda, grandson Steven Sheehy and wife Linda, and 12 great grandchildren Jayden Nelson, Caleb Nelson, Kyler Nelson, Tristian Paredez, Xander Paredez, Issac Trusty, Alena Ariaz, Pacer Ariaz, Liam Sheehy, Charlotte Sheehy, Grayson Sheehy, and Ella Sheehy. Naomi was a wonderful mother and she will be greatly missed. Graveside services will be held at Prairie Haven Cemetery in Hobbs, NM at 11:00am on Saturday, March 21, 2020.
