Nettie M. Drake 71 of Pottsboro passed away on March 28 2011 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison. Dannel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Sat. April 2 at St. John"¢s Episcopal Church in Pottsboro with Rev. Ally Perry officiating assisted by Dr. Ashley Classen. Nettie was born in Everett Washington on Feb. 1 1940 to Clifford and Vera (Williams) Scheuerman. She married John E. Drake on March 28 1986 in Lewisville Texas. Nettie was an administrative assistant at Texas Instruments UCCEL and Northern Telecom for many years. She was also employed at The Pottsboro Press. She was a loving wife mother and friend. Preceded in death by her parents Nettie is survived by her husband John of Pottsboro, a son Michael Scott Doan and wife Sherry of Dallas, daughter Christie Mack and husband Kim of McKinney, two grandchildren: Miranda Zoe Mack and Noah Zane Mack, and numerous relatives all over Kansas.
