Norma Larue Pierce, 70, of Denison, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2014, at Texoma Medical Center in Denison. A memorial service is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. Thursday, February 27th at Dannel Funeral Chapel in Sherman. Pastor Leland Samuelson will officiate. Norma was born December 23, 1943, in Pasadena, TX, to Clyde Boykin and Mary Horn Boykin. She spent many years as a Registered Nurse. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Denison. Norma was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Dan Pierce and two sisters, Patsy Jo Hauck and Sherrie Adair. Survivors include her daughter Vinita Ray of Denison, brother Gerald Boykin of California; grandchildren Kai Lynn Adair, Elyse Adair and Bryan Adair; two great-grandchildren Caiden Jones and Chayse Jones; and nephews Richard Lee and Steven Lee.
