Obituary For Patricia Aileen Anders

Patricia Aileen Anders (nee Smith), 78, peacefully passed away February 7, 2021 in Sherman, TX. She was born March 21, 1942 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Patricia was the beloved wife and best friend of her one and only love, the late Oliver Anders. She was the devoted mother of the late Michael Anders of Sherman, TX. Patricia is an amazing mother in law to Regan Anders (wife of late Michael Anders), and loving grandmother of her grandchildren Ryan Anders, Colt Anders, Olivia Anders and Isabella Anders. Patricia was a Registered Nurse in labor and delivery. She absolutely loved her job and was incredibly talented at it. She delivered thousands of babies and really took pride in her work. She promoted to Nurse Manager of the Labor and Delivery. Her nurses said that Patricia was fair, honest, hardworking, smart, and the best manager ever. She was patient with new nurses and used her expertise to help train and educate them. Everything she did was out of love and kindness. Patricia would always work the holidays so her nurses could have time off with their families. Patricia loved animals, but cats were her favorite. She loved rescuing animals and taking them in. Every time we would visit there was always a new addition to the family. She would load up bags and bags of pet food to feed the strays. Patricia loved spending time with her grandkids. She loved watching them play sports, play board games, and watching movies. She was their biggest fan. She loved wearing shirts that said Nana. That was a title she loved the most.

Pat was the BEST EVER! I loved her! When we worked we worked hard. In L&D there is down time occasionally. We had the best time during that time. She was a load of fun. More importantly, she was a great nurse and person. She was kind to her patients and made them feel special.....because they were special to her. Some of our coworkers will probably have some fun pics.❤️❤️❤️
