Obituary For Patricia Ann Little
Patricia Ann Little died Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Just Like Home in Whitesboro, TX. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 14, 2018 in the Dannel Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Mayes of the Krum Church of Christ officiating. Interment will follow at Friendship Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Born in Dorchester, Texas, March 22, 1932, to George Martin and Hazel Clark Martin, Pat graduated from Sherman High School in 1949. One of the highlights of her life was serving as Drum Majorette for the SHS Marching Band. After graduation, she worked at American National Insurance. She married Eric C. Little in 1950. Mrs. Little and her husband were actively engaged in ranching and cattle feeding in Oklahoma, Kansas, and Texas. She was a member of the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association, Texas Cattle Feeder Association and National Beef Association. She worked at the Grayson County Tax and Auto Registration Office for several years. She served as Democratic Precinct Chairman and Election Judge for Precinct 9 from 1986 to 1996. She was a member of Woods Street Church of Christ for more than 50 years. She is survived by two daughters: Patti Cook and husband, Doug of Sherman, and Jimmie Schneider of Sherman; daughter-in-law: Kelly Wright of Sherman; granddaughters: Crystal Cox and husband David of Whitesboro, Julie Cooper and husband Rob of Whitesboro, Keri Sweet of Sherman, and Jina Taylor and husband Brandon of Ada, OK; great grandchildren: Whitney Cox, Jake Cox, Keeli Sweet, Kanie Sweet, and Bentli Taylor; step-brother: Bert Brown and wife Alice; sister-in-law: Charlotte Martin. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Eric C. Little, son, Eric C. Little II, sisters, Billie Watkins, and Hazel Lee Martin, and brother, James M. Martin. Pallbearers will be Mrs. Little's grandsons and grandsons-in-law. Memorials may be made to Eric C. Little II, Criminal Justice Scholarship Fund at Stephen F.
