Patricia Virden, age 77, passed away on July 21, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and unwavering love for those closest to her.

Patricia is survived by her son, Michael Ballard and his wife, Lori Ballard; her son, Robert Laird and his wife, Lupe Laird; her grandchildren, Josh Ballard, Emily Graham, and Abby Chenger; and her cherished great-grandchildren, Eden Chenger, Alba Chenger, and Piper Graham. She was deeply loved by her family and will be remembered for her caring heart, gentle spirit, and the many memories she created with those she loved.

She was preceded in death by her cherished husband, Samuel Virden, her brothers Dennie and Rodney Darden, and her beloved daughter, Shannon Bricker.

Patricia's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. While her presence will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in knowing that the love she shared and the example she set will continue to guide them for years to come.

She will forever be loved, remembered, and missed.

There will be a graveside service for Patricia on Monday, July 27, 2026, 10:00 AM at Central Cemetery in Hawley, Texas.
